C. Todd Ahrens - President and CEO

Mr. C. Todd Ahrens is the President and CEO for Hannibal Regional Healthcare System.  Mr. Ahrens joined the organization as General Counsel in 2007.  Mr. Ahrens received his Bachelor of Sciences and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Missouri – Columbia.  He previously was employed by the Rendlen Law Firm, PC, and then became a partner of Ahrens, Hale & Lemon, LLC.  Mr. Ahrens is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Tenth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American College of Health Care Executives, and the American Health Lawyers Association.

Patty Brawner - Vice President - Nursing

Mrs. Patty Brawner is the Vice President - Nursing for Hannibal Regional.  Mrs. Brawner served as the Director – PCU since she joined Hannibal Regional in June of 2015. She has over nineteen years of nursing leadership experience in both the non-profit and for-profit settings, with most of those in the Kansas City area. Mrs. Brawner has been in the nursing field since 1991 and holds her BSN from Culver-Stockton, Blessing Rieman and her MSN, MBA-HCM from the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Brawner also achieved an AACN Nurse Executive certification in 2014.

Roger Dix - Vice President - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Roger Dix is the Vice President-Finance of Hannibal Regional Healthcare System and has held this position since August of 2000 overseeing the financial division of the organization.  In 1991, Mr. Dix attained certified status as a Fellow through the testing process of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.  Mr. Dix earned a Masters of Science in Healthcare Financial Management at the University of South Carolina in 1984 after successfully completing a certificate program in the Executive Graduate Program in Healthcare Financial Management in 1982.  Mr. Dix earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1975 from Daemen College.


Wendy Harrington, EdD – Vice President - Development/Foundation President & CEO

Wendy Harrington leads the Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation and also serves as Vice-President Development for Hannibal Regional. Dr. Harrington, a native of northeast Missouri, is passionate about sustaining and enhancing the excellent healthcare services provided by Hannibal Regional. As President of the Foundation, Dr. Harrington manages all efforts to raise, fiscally manage and disburse privately donated funds to Hannibal Regional. Previous to her role with the Foundation, Wendy led a Business Research Group for the University of Missouri, and was the Director of Marketing for a national mail order catalog. Dr. Harrington holds a Bachelor of Science degree from William Woods University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Doctoral in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Wendy also recently earned her CFRE certification (Certified Fundraising Executive).


 Julie H. Leverenz - Vice President - Patient Experience

Ms. Julie H. Leverenz is the Vice President – Patient Experience for Hannibal Regional Healthcare System and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Ms. Leverenz has been a senior leader at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System since 1988. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Missouri - Columbia and is a graduate of the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University where she earned an MBA.

Ms. Leverenz has been an active community leader for several decades having served as a founding member and chairperson for the Hannibal Free Clinic, president of the Girl Scout Council of the Becky Thatcher Area, president of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, founding chair of the Northeast Missouri CHART Partnership, founding president of the Bowling Green Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and is a past Moderator for Missouri Union Presbytery. Ms. Leverenz is a past President of the Hannibal Rotary Club, was named Rotarian of the Year for 2014, is a member of the Paul Harris Society and currently serves as an Assistant Governor for Rotary District 6060. Ms. Leverenz and her family own and operate a farm in Pike County.

Tim Polley - Vice President - Business Development

Mr. Tim Polley is the Vice President - Business Development with Hannibal Regional. Prior to his current role he served as the Executive Director of Hannibal Regional Medical Group. Mr. Polley joined the organization in 2009 as Orthopedic Service Line Manager and brought with him 20+ years of healthcare experience in areas such as Medical Practice Administration, Surgical Services Consulting, Healthcare Business Development and Strategic Planning. Mr. Polley received his BS from Judson University in Elgin, IL and AS (Laser-Electro-Optics) from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to coming to Hannibal, Mr. Polley was President/Founder of Healthcare Strategic Insights, a consulting firm in Chicago, IL. He is very active in the Hannibal community and serves on various board of directors.

Dr. Pranav Parikh - Chief Medical Officer

Pranav Parikh, MD, FCCP, CPE, is the Chief Medical Officer at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. Dr. Parikh is a board-certified physician who has been practicing Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine in the community for over 15 years. He was awarded the Certified Physician Executive (CPE) designation by the American College of Physician Executives. He also became certified in Population Health by Thomas Jefferson School of Population Health in Philadelphia, PA, and oversees the Population Health Program at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. Dr. Parikh is the Medical Director of the ICU, Respiratory Therapy Department and the Sleep Lab at HRH, and has oversight of Quality, Pharmacy, Cardiopulmonary, Neurodiagnostics, Infection Prevention, Patient Safety, and the Medical Staff Office. He has been very active in the organized Medical Staff and was the President of the Medical Staff from 2010 to 2012. Dr. Parikh sits on the Regional Board of the Midwest Region of BAPS, a socio-spiritual Hindu organization.

Timothy A. Reuschel - Vice President - General Counsel

Mr. Tim Reuschel joined Hannibal Regional Healthcare System as Vice President – General Counsel after practicing as a trial lawyer for 13 years.  Mr. Reuschel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Truman State University in 1997.  Mr. Reuschel received his legal education from the University of Missouri, where he was admitted to the Order of the Coif and served as Senior Note and Comment Editor of the Missouri Law Review.  Mr. Reuschel served as a board member for Hannibal Regional Healthcare System from 2009-2012.  Mr. Reuschel and his wife, Cara, are the proud parents of 4 wonderful children.

Doug Ruble - Vice President of Facilities

Mr. Doug Ruble is the Vice President – Facilities for Hannibal Regional Healthcare System.  Mr. Ruble joined the organization in 1993.  Mr. Ruble attended Truman State University and John Wood Community College.  Mr. Ruble has been involved in healthcare facility and construction management for 35 years and is a Certified Facility Engineer, Registered Healthcare Safety Officer and Certified Industrial Electrician.   Mr. Ruble is the Northeast Missouri Hospital representative for the Regional Homeland Security Oversight Committee as well as the Missouri Hospital Association Disaster Preparedness Advisory Committee representative for Region B.


Susan Wathen - Vice President of Human Resources

Ms. Susan Wathen is the Vice President - Human Resources for Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. Ms. Wathen joined the Hannibal Regional Healthcare System team in January 2013, brought with her over 10 years of senior leadership experience, and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources. Ms. Wathen received her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from DeVry University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Hannibal-LaGrange University. Ms. Wathen is a chartering member and President of the Northeast Missouri Area Chapter of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) a member and Past President of the Quincy Area Chapter of SHRM, a member of National SHRM and of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, board member and Past President at the Hannibal YMCA and member and Past President of the Hannibal Early Bird Kiwanis Club. Ms. Wathen has also served as an Ambassador for the Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce, is a Past Vice President for the Hannibal Free Public Library and was the 2009 Business Associate of the Year for the Quincy Chapter of American Business Women's Association.


 Ann Dunham - Compliance Officer

Ms. Ann Dunham is the Compliance Officer for Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. She joined the System in 2013. Ann received her Bachelor of Business from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL and her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Quincy University in Quincy, IL. She received her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2008, her Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) in 2014 and her Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) in 2015. Ann has been in healthcare for many years and her previous experience was in Medical Practice Administration, Human Resources Management and Compliance. She is a current member of the Health Care Compliance Association and the Society for Human Resources Management.


Kurt Ebers - Clinic Administrator

Mr. Kurt Ebers is the Clinic Administrator for Hannibal Regional Medical Group. Mr. Ebers received his undergraduate degree at Saint Louis University, his MBA from Quincy University, is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and is board certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
